She is 4 and manages all the zippers completely on her own. The pulls are just the right size for little hands.

Really pleased overall. The chest strap is fantastic in theory but she kept unclipping it during the day because she found it fiddly to do up herself. We ended up just leaving it off.

She is very happy with it and uses it every day. The 8.5L is the right size for a typical preschool day but on days when we pack extra layers for the cold it gets tight.

Good bag and the strap quality is solid. The soft handle at the top started to lose a little of its shape after about four months of being grabbed and hung from coat hooks every day.
