     MyKite.ca sells school products selected for daily use, durability, and practical value. Warranty coverage depends on the brand and product type. This page explains what is covered, what is not covered, and how to submit a warranty claim.

Kite Backpack Warranty

Kite backpacks are covered by a 3-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

MyKite.ca provides direct warranty support during the first 12 months from the date of purchase. After the first 12 months, warranty requests may be reviewed case by case under the manufacturer’s limited warranty terms.

GoPack Backpack Warranty

GoPack backpacks are covered by a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

What Is Covered

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Defects in materials
  • Defects in workmanship or construction
  • Hardware or stitching defects caused by normal intended use

What Is Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Misuse or improper care
  • Overloading the backpack
  • Accidental damage
  • Cuts, scratches, stains, burns, or cosmetic damage
  • Damage caused by washing machines, dryers, heat, chemicals, or sharp objects
  • Lost or stolen products

Proof Required

To review a warranty claim, we require:

  • Proof of purchase from MyKite.ca
  • Order number
  • Clear photos of the issue
  • Short explanation of how the issue occurred

How Warranty Claims Are Handled

After reviewing the claim, MyKite.ca may choose one of the following options:

  • Repair guidance
  • Replacement, if the issue qualifies and stock is available
  • Store credit, when appropriate
  • Decline the claim if the issue is not covered by warranty

MyKite.ca reserves the right to determine whether a product issue qualifies as a warranty defect.
